California is considering putting
the should we end Bush's Iraqi war
on their next election ballot...

Shouldn't we be putting this question to
ALL of the American people & let the people decide?

After all....what good is a Democracy
if the people's voice isn't heard or even considered?

Seriously, America is the Land of Freedom of Speech and Opportunities.......

But the Iraq War has made the citizens loose that right to that!

Americans got Clinton Impeached for a lie! You can't do a thing about Bush though!

Bush has been lying for so long and No American has done anything so far to stop him!

Its so sad!

If you are a Democratic country....you need to put a stop to getting your sons and daughters killed in Iraq for NO Reason.....except Bush's Dad's Buddies want Oil!

How many Senators or Congressmen/women has children fighting in Iraq?? They are so smart.......they send the loyal little people like you guys to get killed, while their children are safe at home with them for all Holidays!!

It Is So Sad to watch CNN and hear another soldier was killed today!!

I'm not even American....but I WANT to put a Stop to it!

Your own country doesn't have a proper full-proof anti-terror system or Law functioning......I don't get what they are proving in Iraq?? They haven't weeded out all those pre-911 cells that were in the US. Look at the news....everymonth they are catching a bunch of bad guys within the US. Hmmmmmmm.........

Let the Iraqis handle their own life!

Even RICH Saudi Arabia WHO SHOULD BOTHER, doesn't come forward to help Iraq, another Muslim country.......

Why??

They don't mind getting the Americans killed.......they don't want their own men killed!

Why is America bothering so much........is Saudi paying them to keep them in Iraq!! We'll never know now will we??

If ALL the Muslim Countires in the World Even Bother that Innocent lives are lost in Iraq, Shouldn't they be coming forward to take Command and protect Iraq??

They are good at talking and Complaining........ONLY!

Not so peace-loving as they Claim are they?

I alway thought Americans have so much freedom.....apparently....you don't!

GoodLuck picking your Next President!

Why? It's obvious by so many of the answers on this website that most of the American people are just plain stupid and couldn't be trusted with such a vote. Remember the last 2 elections? The majority of voters voted for President Bush. Now, to read many of the blogs, it would be hard to find anyone who would own up to voting for President Bush during the last 2 elections. Where were you people? Drunk? Forgot when election day was? Were too confused by the ballot or voting machine? Come on, get real. The majority of people voted for President Bush because he was the best candidate running at the time in both elections and Americans realize that important decisions of National Security and military actions should be left up to the Commander-in-Chief and not to a bunch of liars or lazy, dimwits.

It's a good idea, but it won't stop Bush....he has all the power Right Now anyway! If the polls are right, and 75% of the American citizens want the war stopped and the soldiers brought home it should already be done. But, do you see GWB paying attention to that No! I support our soldiers and have family in Iraq. Let's just hope he gets out of office before he starts something in Iran. If Bush had listened to the people the Democrats would not have control of the Senate or Congress right now......as if it makes a difference......the Democrats not having enough backbone to stand tall and stop GWB.

I'm afraid you are severely misguided. Californian's are very Liberal...of course they would vote against the war. Most Liberals are very out spoken and lead in Hollywood and most of the media. Republicans and Conservatives are the silent majority, especially in polls. If the nation voted, then they would speak up for this purposeful cause and support for our Soldiers abroad. The peoples voices would be considered and the war would continue....Sorry, but I'm afraid, that's just the way it is! You just want the Liberal and anti-war ethusiast voices to be considered...Am I Right?

Why elect a president if we are going to vote on it ourselves? Let's just eliminate the office of president and have the public vote on everything congress comes up with. The president is doing what he thinks is right for this country. You had a chance to kick him in 2004 and didn't , so leave him alone until 2008 , then you get another chance to pick your president.

Don't worry, Republicans are scared sh***less about the Democrats "caving in" to Bush, as they know this is the signal to vote out Republicans from the House next year. Only Republican Congressmen left next year will be the ones in the southern peckerwood state, the idiots out west and those who deliver the pork to their districts.

All other Republicans who supported Bush's endless killings this year will be without jobs next year.

basically because of the fact you pay attention the term conflict crimes returned and returned does no longer propose they actually befell. Do you additionally recognize what a "conflict crime" is? regardless of if the extensive type truly is a million which has been shown returned and returned to be incorrect, it may would desire to be shown that the CIVILIANS have been the targets. intentionally. What the ineffective civilians are regrettably are casualties of conflict.

No, and not because I think it's a bad idea.

DIE-BOLD!

If you put that on a referendum and use the magic vote machines and we'll be in Iraq for eternity.

So maybe YES, if and only if we go back to non-hanging chads or machines with a verifiable paper trail.
