Falkland Islands are a British Colony ,

Scotland and Wales are provences of the United Kingdom, the same as England & Northern Ireland (Ulster)

China claims Taiwan to be a provence of China, however most nations recognize it as independent under the 2 China theory.

If Scotland get's independence could Wales then follow? Very easy answer. No. Why because it would not be in the Welsh best interest. Wales needs money from the UK government to keep their standard of living. If they go it alone there would not be enough money to fund all their public services and other construction projects. And they can say good bye to the NHS in Wales. Welsh people would have to work long for less a wage and inflation will increase.

Scotland and Wales are part of the United Kingdom (along with England and Northern Ireland) but they do have their own Parliaments (the Scottish Parliament, the Welsh Assembly) which have the power to deal with certain devolved issues.

The Falkland Islands are a self-governing Overseas Territory of the United Kingdom.

Taiwan is part of the People's Republic of China.
