Right now..?

Please take into account the Bush doctrine and the Cheney, Perl, Wolfowitz PNAC report.
If you aren't sure what that is - look it up.

If McCain and [shudder, shudder] Palin had been the ones elected (I feel nauseous at the very thought of such a travesty upon this nation), we would NOT have survived the financial crises that had been caused by the very policies McCain was advocating! There would have been NO economic stimulus that has now created new green-energy technologies plants in at least 40 states, the 95% of working Americans would NOT have gotten their tax increase in April of 2009, spending would have DRIED UP and we would have slipped into deep deep DEPRESSION that would spread to other nations as well, thanks to the continued DEREGULATION (no OVERSIGHT, no RULES or REGULATIONS) for the financial markets! There would have been NO CREDIT CARD REFORMS (see President Obama's and the Democrats Credit CARD Act of 2009 that prohibits predatory fees for consumers), no reduction of the Republican-caused DEFICIT by 8% (see articles in both Reuters and Washington Post in June 2010, also see MSNBC reports), and none of the more than 240 consumer-protecting nation-mending legislations would have been passed.

We would NOT have the New START Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty in place that makes this entire world safer, the 46-nation Nuclear Weapons Threat SUMMIT would NOT have been held and so the Ukraine, Chile, and other attending nation's leaders would NOT have agreed to give the U.S. their weapons-grade materials, Palin's wink at world leaders would have further infuriated other cultures' leaders, the combat mission in Iraq would NOT be ended as it was by President Obama in August of this year, and this nation---this very very INSURED-BY-REPUBLICAN-POLICIES-NATION would have slipped into THIRD WORLD STATUS! McCain is NUTS! He changes his mind more than the price of gasoline changes. We would have NO MONEY and no one in this world willing to loan us any more money to attack ANYONE, but the mere effort of trying to do so would be enough, my guess is, to united the entire multi-billion population of Muslims against us!

I don't know about that. Yeah they talked up Iran but Iran has alot more fight in them than Afghanistan and I'm not sure I believe they'd take that kind of risk. If he did go into Iran, he wouldn't have gone into Afghanistan b/c we can't afford 3 wars at once. End of the day, and it pains me to say this, Obama is just as big a hawk as the Republicans whose foreign policy he criticized to get elected. In his time in office, he's endorsed indefinite detention, extended our engagement in Iraq beyond what he promised, got us into another engagement, has kept Gitmo open & has done nothing to roll back the atrocious incursions in our civil liberties in this bogus "war on terror." Ron Paul is right. If we hadn't meddled in the Middle East since the 50s, we wouldn't have to worry about terrorists.

I think if McCain were elected things would look more or less the same as they look now. Obama and his secretary of state, Clinton have been constantly agitating for war with Iran through rhetoric and tough sanctions (sanctions that Ron Paul calls an act of war on our part). I wouldn't rule out a war with Iran before Obama leaves office but even if there isn't war while he is in office he is greasing the wheels for the next Republican who takes office should that Republican be able to make the war happen.

nicely, grown human beings shouldn't base their critiques in basic terms on what momma says, they could desire to examine the subject rely on their very own. And if their is a conflict with Iran, you're able to desire to be proud to opt to serve your usa on your maximum suitable means. And 3rdly, he will no longer placed the U. S. in a conflict whilst weren't even out of the present one and not quickly after. you're able to desire to undergo in ideas, Senator McCain spent 5 years as a POW in Vietnam. He knows what the worst of conflict appears like so do no longer think of he treats conflict gently.

I seriously doubt it. I'm far from a fan of McCain, but I do know he understands war and military issues better than most in Congress. Despite that dumb joke he made during the 2008 campaign, he wouldn't actually push to bomb Iran unless there was no alternative. That would endanger all our allies and start a major war, one that would make Iraq and Afghanistan look like playground scuffles.

Is that why Obama has authorized more drone attacks in his first two years than all previous presidents combined?

No... The pentagon would have advised against it. we know better and we analyze wars before we go into them we would have three wars. I don't think it would have been feasible.
