I have heard of Corporatocracies, or megacorporations, forms of government where a corporation, a group of corporations, or government entities with private components, control the direction and governance of a country. It refers to a corporation that is a massive conglomerate, holding monopolistic or near-monopolistic control over multiple markets (thus exhibiting both a horizontal and a vertical monopoly).

However most megacorporations mostly exist in fiction such as:
RoboCop (Omni Consumer Products),
Aliens (Weyland-Yutani),
Terminator (Cyberdyne Systems),
Wall-E (Buy n' Large),
Resident Evil (Umbrella Corporation)
and others like Metropolis, Citizen of the Galaxy, The Cold Cash War, the Solar Queen novels, etc.

One more thing: While the Walt Disney Company does not have a standing army, it is one of the few multinational corporations to achieve a large degree of self-governmental control, in the Florida region known as the Reedy Creek Improvement District. Within this district, the Disney corporation has the legal authority to establish its own building codes, power plants and utilities, fire departments, and to seize land outside the district under eminent domain. The corporation protects itself from outside interference by permitting only Disney employees to own land within the district, keeping voting power to elect district managers (also Disney employees) within company control, and thereby preventing restriction on company actions and projects within the district. Can Walt Disney Company become a megacorporation?

And are the USA, EU, communist countries and the Church real-life megacorporations? (some people say they are)

That's why the Bush Bailouts went through.

The Federal Reserve and global corporations have all the MONEY.

Money = Power = Money = Power

EDIT: "Kay" sounds young (perhaps in her twenties).

Those who have money, want to keep their money (and acquire more). These monied entities WILL use some of this money to INFLUENCE (bribes, which come in MANY forms) people who make decisions (government officials) which affect the monied interest's ability to make MORE money.

This is not rocket science.

This is ignorant. Corporations are not the government. They do not control the government. The government controls society by setting regulations/ federal laws etc. following the U.S. Constitution which cannot be changed unless voted by Congress. Which would not happen. All corporations do is help provide more money and Corporations are BUSINESSES that have spread internationally. They would not be allowed to override our government. The President is in control. It's a Democracy, not a corporation in the US. Watching or playing too much video games. Those are fantasy games

They can be bigger than countries.

Exxon-Mobil has more money than Venezuela and when Chavez took Exxon to court they pretty much told Venezuela where to get off.

And since the oil from Venezuela is a hard to refine oil, Exxon is the only company equipped to handle their oil.
