Islamic Fascist. Christian Facist. Male Fascist. women human beings Fascist. Black Fascist. American Fascist. German Fascist. - you are able to surely describe something with it and can desire to be called a bias (gender, race, faith, citizenship). in basic terms forgive the cowboy in case you cand beat the hell out of him.

It's just another propaganda ploy to paint Muslims as Nazis. Remember Ahmedinejad with the "wipe Israel off the face of the earth" bit? I agree with you, it's hyperbolic fear-mongering..

That's only part of the problem. And it's not like the rest of the world hasn't noticed a large percentage of Americans (and posters on this board) don't already think all Muslims are terrorists.

My biggest objection is that it shows he doesn't understand what the word fascist means, which is globally embarrassing.

Fascist: "An adherent of a right-wing political theory advocating an authoritarian hierarchical government (as opposed to democracy or liberalism)."

Terrorists aren't fascists because they are not trying to establish an authoritarian hierarchical government.

But the definition does remind me of someone else.

It disturbs me a little. The reality is that the vast majority of Muslims do NOT hate non-Muslims.

Remember there are something like a billion Muslims. If they all really wanted us dead, there is not much we could do to stop that many people.

Who cares what they think. If Islam were the peace loving people they say they are, they would be the loudest voice heard when speaking against terrorism. I still haven't heard so much as a peep.

You know, that's actually a good question. Bush signed a trade agreement that will erase our borders with Mexico and Canada, and CAFTA and the FTTA or FTA will include all of South America all as one country.

Our new system of government will be facist, there will be no more capitalism.

I find the use of the term amazing, because Bush opens himeslf up to being called a christian fascist, which is what he is. Of course he is trying to stir up hate. There's a mid term election coming.

Will Americans remember anything>?

Yes, I'm concerned that such terms will lead to prejudice, vandalism and other illegal acts against Arab Americans . I'm concerned that this is a green light for thugs to victimize law abiding families

The new Republican line seems to be that there has been continuous conflict between Islam and Christianity, between Israel and Islam since the time of Mohammad's death. What a dangerous lie! I heard a Bush spokeswoman on Chris Matthews show this evening actually say this. She also said that there was a difference between the Christian God and Allah, and capped it all of by declaring that Islam is oriented toward violence... I can't remember the rest it was so bizarre. The point was clearly made that the US was in a war against Islam.

These ideas, along with the term Islamo Fascism began to appear on these forums a few days ago, with increasing frequency. They are being spread by Republican operatives no doubt as well as fans of right wing media. This is dangerous in so many ways, ways I cannot imagine. I fear that the US is asking for a religious war, and there are 2 billion Muslims in the world. And all of this is being engineered by the Republican leadership, as a way to keep their seats in the legislature and perhaps also as a way to keep support for the US support of Israel. All of this is insane and foolish. This is not the America I grew up in, the Republican Party I remember, the Christianity I was taught, the principles of equality, civil rights and religious toleration the US once embodied.

BTW I am not a Moslem! Just a concerned American, who feels the country is really really going down the wrong track, and for the most trivial of reasons.

So if you're and Islamic capitalist you should be offended? I work for a Muslim who was born in the US and is not of Arab descent. He was not in the least offended. I don't think he was labeling all Muslims fascists. He said THE Islamic fascists tried to attack us. People are too worked up over BS and semantics these days. Probably because they only go by soundbites they hear on the MSM.

Bush doesn't know what the definition of fascist is.

His administration and Neo-Cons are the closest thing to fascist since Hitler himself. The longer he is Pres-furor, more and more muslims all over the world will hate the USA.

how bout this. i heard one of the isreali secreatary of defense peeps say this. not all muslims are terrorists but it seems all terrorists are muslims. very true and why we should use race in checking people at places like airports. Being politically correct over something like your safety is just stupid. so checking a 80 year old lady just cuz she's the every 8th person is stupid they should check people who look of muslim descent. its not that big of a deal being checked and it's a better use of their time.
