John McCain and Russia?

John McCain a while ago called for the removal of Russia from the G8. He has denouced Russia every opportunity he gets. I'm not a big fan of Russia but it seems to me like if he becomes President there might be something close to a war with Russia. With $9.6 trillion in debt, I'm scared for my future and my kids future. I watched Bill O'reilly interviewing Obama and he tried as much as possible to get Obama off his message of negogiate and kept telling him to have a plan B (if negogiation doesn't work). Obama already said he wouldn't take military option off the table. That is good enough for me. I do not want a President that is already planning for war before coming into office.
This country doesn't need any War .We need to create jobs, fund education, create housing .Get our soildiers all the help they need with Education, mental health etc.
I am not a Republic or a Democrat, I am just someone that Thinks.

Your question is a good one but I think you are too pessimistic about McCain's Russia policy. First, don't you think McCain, having endured an actual war, is unlikely to start another one? Remember, it was Obama who said that he would support bombing Pakistan, a nuclear, Islamist state. Russia is flexing its muscles, waiting to see if we respond with strength or weakness. Remember when you were in elementary school and the school yard bully would hassle you? I do. And I remember the day I stood up to him. He turned and ran and Russia is no different. Russia fears a war with the United States far more than you fear one with them. We need a president with a knowledge of the military and on that point, McCain shines. I agree we need new domestic policy and I think McCain will bring that about. Keep in mind, raising taxes and increasing government spending is not the road to a better economy.

Since I'm not an economist, I can't begin to know how to run a country. However, I'm not in a coma and I can recognize a seriously flawed economy, when I am living with it. Things went well, while President Clinton was in office, but took a distinct downward dive while Bush destroyed what Clinton built. Don't you Republicans remember how much better off we were then? I am so sick of Bush rattling sabers at other countries, and I think McCain would definitely start another war with either Iran or Russia. The man is already getting seriously forgetful, which reminds me of Reagan's last months as President. Why would you even consider voting for that, especially when McCain says he doesn't know much about economics?

Well one thing Oreilly is right about for sure, two people can look at the same thing at the exact same time and see / hear two different things. I don't have to defend O'reilly, he needs no defending he was right, if negotiations break down, we have to have a plan to deal with the situation. If by some miracle Obama win's, he will have these plans as well as any other president in our past and future. If you are concerned about your future, then the best thing to do is stop the bashing, be honest, stand up for what is right. Democrats have really lowed themselves to unprecedented levels in this election. never before have I seen this kind of hate, and just down right repugnant behavior. Obama did indeed know what he was saying in regards to the lipstick on a pig comment, and so do democrats. and you all make me sick. McCain will win and all the thumbs down in this liberal love fest does not change that fact.

Icarus and Steve both know what they are talking about. Russia is scared of McCain. We need him to protect our country. Why do you think Russia likes Obama? They know he is weak and a coward.

If the Cold War is proof of anything it's that diplomacy only bides you time. Things are starting up again, it would be nice to have a president who does more than talk.

Well you dont have to think very hard to know we dont need to have a president who thinks that way at all. You are totally right it is very scary he is a hard shelled man for possible presdent and not what we need there.

I'm not a big fan of either McCain or Obama, You should look into third party candidates. I really believe that a third party candidate should be voted into office.
