Question:
How could so many people hate Hillary Clinton and vote against her when Barack and Michelle Obama love her and supported her?
2017-09-30 01:18:43 UTC
Most Americans love Barack Obama and love his wife Michelle Obama, and most Americans thought Barack Obama was a really good President. So why didn't most Americans listen to the Obamas when they said that Hillary Clinton would have been a good President?

Also if Hillary Clinton is such a bad person, then why did so many celebrities and famous people love her and supported her during the election?

Here's a list of celebrities and famous people that love her and supported her:
Justin Timberlake
Jessica Biel
Tara Strong
Robert Downey Jr.
Madonna
Cyndi Lauper
Scarlett Johansson
Amy Poehler
Katy Perry
Steven Spielberg
Kate Winslet

"Most Americans love Barack Obama.."

1. Since MOST Americans don't bother to vote, I think it's a stretch to assume whether they love or even like any politician.

2. Hillary Clinton is not Barack Obama, and she doesn't have his charisma. Liking one Democrat does not make you like all Democrats.

3. About half of the people who do care enough to vote aren't Democrats anyway, so after 8 years with a Democrat in the White House, they wanted to switch parties.

Hillary was not even an Obama fan. She used the daylights out of him, just like she used her husband, Slick Willy's, position to further her own agenda. Wake up, please wake up.

As far as the celebs are concerned, many whined about having to leave America if Trump won. Did even one of those idiots move away from the land where they have earned millions upon millions of dollars? That would be a big fat NO. They are all still here, making even more money. Ppppfffffftttt.

Mrs. Clinton was thought to be incompetent for the job by many as exemplitied by allowing Libya and Stevens to crumble, Barack grudgingly supported Mrs. Clinton while Barack's agenda was largely disliked, Mrs. Clinton declared about a quarter of the voters as deplorables, Mrs. Clinton said she would put the international problems on Mr. Clinton's agenda, plus alot of voters were tired of Mr Clinton walking around and inside the White House for eight years already, I mean how long does it take to get to know where the bathrooms and toilets are in even a large mansion?

I have the greatest respect for Barack and think he did a lot of good things - a few things I didn't agree with, but on the whole, I thought he was a good president. However, the notion that "most Americans" loved him, is absurd. You must either live in a foreign country or a liberal bastion of America to think so. He was supported by a very very slim majority.

Both political parties, for years now, have been putting forth candidates who are party functionaries. They are more interested in supporting the goals of their party than the goals of their constituents. People are sick and tired of that. Bernie Sanders, while politically quite different from Trump, had the same "party outsider" status. The parties want us to learn a lesson from Trump - "see, this is what you get when you elect people we didn't hand pick for you". It is the parties that need to learn the lesson - "see, if you keep hand picking candidates we don't want, you'll end up with a Donald Trump."

I don't care what celebrities think - at all. They are just people, like anyone else. They are so busy with their "celebrity lifestyle" that they are typically quite uninformed about issues that truly matter. I can think for myself.
2017-10-01 04:35:10 UTC
Wow, so many people. Well, first off, celebrities get PAID to voice their *honest* opinion. So you never know if those opinions are true, because for money anyone would do anything. And second, looking at that list, Hilary obviously knew she was going to lose thats why she PAID so many people to support her to make her seem good. And as for the Barack Obama situation, I don't know because I just don't follow politics.

There I've said it.

Since I don't know much about politics, I'll have to take Lolly's word on it! Especially since I know Trump has a lot of money, and the latter, Donald Trump, would pay his way to the electoral college to say yes to him so Hillary wouldn't win. I believe you are right for preferring Hillary over Trump, Anonymous User. Hillary is a proud lady and if the former president's wife won, we would have a legacy of Clinton presidents. Though typically, I believe you have to live life in the form of a chosen destiny, not by what your parents or other relatives lived before you, by the influence of Ever After High, of course! Also "Megamind". The movie, not the character, I mean; by the end, saying it is not destiny, but what we choose. Anyway, but I'm sure Hillary Clinton winning president would have been SUPER GOOD, and I believe in my heart she would make better choices as President and not do as former President Clinton, yes, Bill, would have done since he cheated on poor Hillary. You know, in "The Sims", you know, that video game, Sims do not forgive cheaters. According to the Nintendo 3DS game "The Sims 3", I've cheated on my wives and husbands before and felt horrible about it, as it was something my wives and husbands NEVER got over, and they COULDN'T move out in the Nintendo 3DS game. In the 3DS game, they never got over the cheating and heartbreak, and had such distaste for my characters or Sims when I did those things.

Anyway, enough about me! I agree with Lolly! I'm really not sure who the Mercers and Lochs are, but I know the Trumps being as rich as they are, paid the Electoral College to vote against Hillary in the election. I know they paid them off to vote for Trump against Clinton in the election, and I am as sad as any Hillary fan and as sad as any Against-Trump-iton about it. I am sorry this was so long by the way! Bye XOXO. ♥

Just because someone is liked by someone doesn't mean they're liked by other people. Obama was at least a good speaker who knew how to rally people and to his advantage he didn't have any past political baggage to hurt him. Hillary on the other hand did and she was not very well liked by the swing voters. Not to mention she is very despised by Republicans so Republicans came out in droves to make sure she didn't get voted in. The Republican base was motivated. The Democratic vote was not and most of the swing voters pulled for Trump. End of story.

First of all you over-state the entire situation. Secondly your reason is so superficial it's below the dignity of even the least of citizen; who can think for their self. Lastly, you along with most people; still don't grasp that the election was decided by the electoral college who have the job of bust up political monopolies (not citizen popularity).

I guess you are pretty young. When you get older and you start working, you'll notice that a lot of money is taken out of your paycheck by the government. The total amount taken out depends on what state you live in, but it's generally about 30% or more. When you get that first paycheck and you see your money being taken away, you'll probably think to yourself: "Hey that's my money!" And you might even wonder if there is something you can do so the government won't take so much of your money. This will be your official "birth" into politics. Right now, you are basing your opinion on what Katy Perry tells you your opinion is. But once you see the government taking your money away, you will have your own opinion. If you do decide that you want to do something about the government taking your money away, there is no possibility of you being a Democrat any longer. Democrats in government only spend more money on more bogus programs and then they raise taxes to pay for their bogus programs.

They simply love and support anyone who pushed the liberal agenda, no matter who it is. Had Trump called himself a liberal, they would have carried the man on their shoulders but because he is an American and supports giving the country back to the American People, libtards and Republicans hate the man.... IF your swayed on who to vote for simply base don those who support the person, I will say that you are everything wrong in this country. How about you find out why you support an issue and when you do support something, make damn sure you know why you do and you better have Truth & Fact to support your claim. The reason I have beaten so many liberal bigots into their safe places and end up getting called their names of intolerance is because I stand on truth and facts and these 2 things happens to be the only thing that liberal ideology is not based upon.....

Newsflash. SOME people loved Obama, but not MOST people. Also, I heard there was a tiff between the Clintons

and the Obamas. Celebrities are out-of-touch cukoos. They give in to the whole peer pressure and finger pointing

about race wars, and want to avoid being one of the accused. They live an eccentric life of the super wealthy, and

many of the above mentions celebrities are on drugs. Also, any thinking person can see that Obamacare, with it's

forced mandate, and high deductibles and the direction Hillary wanted it to go in (one-payor system) wouldn't have

been too good for the American people.

Celebrities supported her because that was who the establishment wanted. They didn't want Trump. HC is a terrible person in many ways. Apparently you aren't smart enough to figure that out. Next time abstain from voting...Trump is no saint either by any means...

"Most" Americans did NOT love Barack Obama and they did not love his wife Michelle. "Most" Americans did NOT think Obama was a really good president. Those are views that are still shared only by ultra-liberals.

Obviously, "most" Americans did NOT believe Obama when he said Hillary would make a good president, or else they would have elected her.

How many people love those entertainers and the Obamas? It looks like Hillary might have needed more than a list of celebrities and the Obamas showing love and support for her.

Advertisment works and people knew Hillary was going to win so they were relaxed in voting thinking the other guy would vote. Trump a year ago was spewing "fake news" just last month it turns out Russians were publishing fake news stories on Facebook and other media that the bulk of the world did not see. There was a world wide effort to take the election from her from the FBI who launched a turd 3 days before the election to Russia.

I believe Barack Obama supported Hillary out of a mix of pity, a false sense of loyalty, and in order to help get a woman into the White House. Whatever the reason, I was very disappointed that he didn't have the chutzpah to support Bernie.

The people who hate Hillary Clinton tend to hate the Obamas too.

Incidentally, most American voters DID vote for Hillary Clinton. But even though she got 3 million more votes than Donald Trump, in our electoral college system, a candidate with the most votes can still lose.

You said 'Hate' ! Is that in your heart? I voted my conscience, not my hate! PS; the Obama's dislike immensely, the Clinton's! You are confused! These 'celebrity's you mention, could get 'Blacklisted' by the Liberal Elite who employ them!

In all honsty all I ever hear around my house is this question too and I always hear the same responce. The world is still full of racist people. Its so stupid. But my opinion is trump is good at covering his mistakes and going back on his words( aka with putin). I dont agree with trump at all. And he is racist & sexist. But alot of people like what he said and thats why he won.

Hilary clinton made a few mistakes in the past. Plus, the Obamas supported her because they were against Trump and did not want Mr. Trump to become the president.

Most people did actually vote for her, as she won the popular vote. However, most decent people did not vote for her. And the majority of states and counties decided Trump was a better candidate which of course he is.

A lot of us didn't like Obama. A lot of us are also sick and tired of celebrities telling us how to vote.
2017-10-02 20:34:57 UTC
The flaw in your thinking is that most people did NOT actually like Barack Obama- they just weren't brave enough to admit they didn't like him, because he was black and so they felt socially obligated to support him. They didn't want to appear to be racist lol.

She and the Obamas were victims of an 8 year hate campaign by the right and the fake news channels of Fox & co. It is why Trump's supporters are all for getting rid of everything with Obama's name on it while repeating the mistakes of Bush. Now we are in for at least 4 years of a counter-hate program.

well in 2016, hilary tried a little too hard to please the black minority.

if they had asked her to 6789 diamonds, she would have. hilary might have won, if she had stolen all of bernie sanders' ideas and incorporated them into her own campaign.

once she was nominated , of course the sitting president from the same party will support her. did you notice Obama would not put his name on any candident until they got nominated. because he did not want to look like a fool

this is how politics work, not because she may or may not be the better choice. just that the sitting president will NEVER say they want the other party to win

people do not care when actors and known people say to vote this way or the other
2017-09-30 20:35:18 UTC
Anybody is better than trump
2017-09-30 10:03:46 UTC
Keep in mind that Hillary did not "destroy" Trump in the popular vote. She only won by 131,000 votes. That's about the size of a small suburban town. There was no overwhelming support for Hillary. At all.
