Anyone else think it's absolutely ridiculous on how much we pay actors just to put their faces in front of a camera and say a few words? I mean take for example Charlie Sheen, that guy gets paid 875k dollars per episode of Two and a Half Men which is bullshit if you ask me. Shouldn't all that money we waste of those idiots being going to something better like say I don't know...improving schools, the environment, in finding ways to improve the economy, etc. I don't know about you but that kinda pisses me off on how this country can be so stupid as to just throw all this money down their good for nothing throats when most of them actors and actresses suck anyway. It should go to a better cause, anyone else agree?

Because American boobs love their "Boobtube" (tv). Personally I don't watch much tv. To much indoctrination, lies, halftruths, violence and hatred. It is making America and Americans dumb and ugly.

What is the "we pay"? Who is "we"?

TV shows that people enjoy and therefore watch draw advertisers who pay big bucks to try and reach that audience. The actors help make the shows or movies and get paid for doing so. Those who can attract the biggest audiences get well paid for doing so. Just as athletes, other entertainers, Nascar drivers, musicians etc. do for their performances. It is the basis for our economic system. It's call CAPITALISM.

If someone can turn a talent into money what is wrong with that? I am sure if you had a talent and could earn big bucks you wouldn't hesitate for a minute. Obviously you don't and haven't which is why you are complaining now.

And by the way, many of these people you are ranting about, make substantial contributions to many fine causes helping children, the sick, the needy etc. because they are in a position to do so. Many lend their name to worthy causes because that helps raise money and support. Again, it is capitalism at work.

enable's harm it down Kurt Cobain - does not sing appropriate, notwithstanding that's grunge guy. Grunge isn't approximately being appropriate. that's like a punk suggestions-set with purely somewhat diverse musical factor to it. Krist Noviselic - he's a stable bass participant. he's not great, he's not undesirable. Dave Grohl - A ******* superb drummer. ordinary as that. that's in line with opinion, yet Nirvana is stable as a band, even even with the indisputable fact that their frontman isn't the final. i'm a guitarist, and that i'm 15. i can purely without a doubt say ability smart, i'm greater helpful at guitar then Kurt Cobain. they simply artwork nicely as a band, and that they have got been given this suggestions-set that persons purely love. they're Nirvana, and that they won't care what you think of on the tip of the day

It's called supply and demand my friend.

People want to see actors/celebrities perform; and will pay.

That's the 'American Way' surely?

Annoying isn't it sometimes?!
