When I turn 18 could I legally go visit my friends in another state even without my parents' permission?

I have some friends that live in other states and I want to visit them. I'm not 18 yet and my parents probably wouldn't approve of me going to another state to see them. So when I turn 18, could I legally go and see them without parental approval?

Yes... you can pretty much do what you want when you turn age 18, as long as you can pay for it.
Your parents, however, have a right to react if they don't like what you're doing...If they own your car, they can deny you its use. If they pay your car insurance, they could cancel it. If you have a credit card that they allow you to use, they can cancel it... and so on.

If you live in their home and wish to STAY living there, yes. They csn still tell you what to do.

Legally, yes. But just remember, with you being 18 your parents are not obligated to let you come back. Their house, their rules.
