According to TIME magazine, congress is going to start investigating the Televangelists for money fraud?

Yes to both. The law is clear that tax-exempt organizations cannot engage in politics, and the Bush administration has been refusing for years to enforce this against its supporters. Tax exempt organizations also have a legal responsibility to use their assets wisely, and this makes it hard to explain some preachers' Rolls Royces, fancy houses, vacation homes and private planes. Expect numerous prison sentences.

Uh, why did you mention Republicans in your question. Remember Democrats are in charge of congress and chairpersons of all committees so no investigation is begun without the chairperson calling the investigation......your politics are showing.

1--- These evangelist are soliciting contributions to do God's work. 2--- They live a life of opulence, and are driven in chauffeured limosines.

I think its a great idea. I don't care what party they are from. These people have been ripping folks off for years. Jim Baker proved that. One of the few I would trust is Billy Graham.
