yes i agree with you i am fed up walking about wearing slippers in ten years time muslims will be the MAJORITY and we will be the minority which is quite a frightening prospect it is about time the brittish people stopped being to polite and telling these people where to go well done Jack Straw he is saying what we are thinking so let us get together and tell them that they liin there own country ve in OUR COUNTRY and if they dont like the way we live or act to go home and live the way they want to

No dear I dont think the BBC has the power to brainwash we have a choice, dont watch it! flick the channel. All religion is a story and used to make people conform.

I feel sorry for religious fanatics, they are the ones being brainwashed and i mean all religions. Dont we usually call these "cults"?

I believe that there is a force of kharma, do unto others and all that stuff but not in a big way.

I dont think we should fight and war over religion, and is this not all Shite in itself?

However, I do believe that there will be a revolt in this country shortly, and England will become the new Northern Ireland! cheers Tony, George, Allah, Jah, Jesus, Ganesh et al, and all you other mythical story charachters, who through your religious leaders and the idiots who cannot choose for themselves have made this country the crap place it is today.

I dont suppose this helps but this subject gets on my nerves!

The British terrestrial TV channels are, for the want of a better word, left-wing. They are staffed by Guardian reading feminists, anti-capitalists, EU supporters, promoters of PC and immigration, and are extremely unpatriotic. They are supporters of most government policy, and do their level best to undermine the Tory Party. A classic example of this, was when the BBC only showed about five minutes of William Hague's live speech at the Tory party conference, switching cunningly to an interview with Michael Howard. Even MH pointed out about three times that he no longer spoke for the Tory Party and why were they not broadcasting the remaining part of WH's speech. It is blatantly obvious that the viewers would have wanted to see it. Back in the studio you could observe Andrew Neil looking down at the monitor to see whether WH was still speaking, indicating whether or not he needed to continue the MH interview. WH is a very able politician and would be very likely to say things about foreign affairs that the BBC didn't think that we should hear. This was the most blatant piece of bias that I have ever seen and was clearly pre-meditated. Even Andrew Neil was uncharacteristically sheepish about it, when questioned about the non showing of WH's speech. 'Airmonkey' should change his name to 'airhead'.

I do not agree with you one bit. It is currently dominating the news, as it is a very sensitive and current news item. If, however, you didn't watch news shows, you wouldn't hear anything about muslim news!

Also: it's not brainwashing people into Islam. Most of the news items are about how Islam should possibly be watered down. It's not (quite) anti-Islam, but it's closer to that than pro-Islam.

quite agree. You would think it was the only religion on this planet. They have no respect for other peoples religions so why give them t.v. time. I dont want to live in a shitey islamic state and i,m sick of pussyfootin around them so as not to upset their feelings. Well i wish they would just belt up! Other muslims should be sorting these extremists out but they play the two way bet. Kick them out!!!

I guess I don't have the same channels. I really do enjoy the bbc channels. I've lived here for just over a year and it's great compared to the us. They block everything and edit most movies and shows...too conservative I guess but sooooo boring. As for anything muslim and religion related, I turn the channel and enjoy something else. That sort of stuff does not bother me in the least, I just ignore it! ;D

There are 50 million muslims in Europe now. We ignore this fact at our peril.

We may hate seeing Muslim news BUT we need to expose these people at every opportunity.

I bet people got fed up hearing about nazis during the 1930's, too.

There's a lot in what you say. I use to watch a lot of TV, especially the news. I used to be a news junkie, now i don't even switch the thing on. I'm either on yahoo answers, watching a film, reading or watching sports, i feel a lot happier. Bet the advertisers are gonna love hearing about me.

i dont think there is a shitey muslim country - ours or not. I believe everyone has the right to practice their own beliefs no matter what. I do however protest to any "fundamentalist" views that exclude one way of faith over another. I have met women of islamic faith who have chosen to cover up their all but eyes and am baffled but respecive if their choice. I also have respected my catholic relatives that confess all and save themselves for marriage though I dont follow that at all

I do however believe that if we take race relations seriously then we must regard it as a two way street.

EVERYONE must be respectfull of EVERYONE else, I have muslim friends that send me christmas cards and I have respected their beliefs over ramadan/eide (sorry if spelling not spot on) my mum sends cards at their religous events as a mark of respect.

However i do find myself more pissed off at the do not mention christian events in public ( in case of offendding non christians). I trully find that most non christians also appreciate and respect other faiths.

lets give every one a chance o matter thier beliefs - I mean I trully believe Scotland will beat France at least 2-1 tomorrow.

COME ON SCOTLAND no matter your beliefs!!!!

P.S just read that Nazi quote dont know if its a good thing to compare Muslims to Nazis.

I think the BBC has an obvious anti American bias. And seems to bend over backwards to portray any non white, non Christian group in a positive light. I agree with you.

i agree the muslim diary owner whose business was petrol bombed also wanted to build a mosque in the centre of windsor.thats not a problem in its self but they expect everyone to bend around them. The bbc didnt mention this but sky did.If this guy really wants to practice his religion why doesnt he go home to where they do worship allah and leave us to get on with want we want
2006-10-06 23:42:51 UTC
there is conspiracy by the business entersts to make every one look. act. talk. etc the same so they can sell there products more efficiantly..it doesnt have anything to do with anything except that. money runs this world. not the people.there is a larger picture we simple sheeple don t understand yet. if ever.

I guess this is because he who causes the most Hell on Earth gets the most publicity.

Almost all news is bad news. For the same reason most people watch Nascar(not to see someone win, but to see someone crash).

I am kind of sick of hearing about that stuff too.

The media never puts any good stuff on it. Like alll they talk about is death, bombings, war, and other pessimistic things. They do not walk about cheerful things and put bad images on tv and the internet.
