does anyone think that radical islam or muslims could will ever take over britain?

ive often heard it said all to often on the net these days , and one can kind of worry about it if your from great britain like me , if you can now call it ' great ' anymore .

im in my early 30s and i feel very heated about this subject , if it came to such a threat i would take up arms and fight.

and with all the influx of immigrants , thousands unaccounted for , it can make you worry that someday soon , muslims or radical islam could take over ?

does anybody think that such a threat could ever happen ? would we have enough resources to fight and deal with such a threat ?

i would like some ' sensible ' opinions on it . preferably from fellow brits.

You know the 'great' in 'great britain' doesn't mean 'very good', don't you?



At most, accounted for Muslims take up about 5% of the population. Assuming the worst - that there are another pile of illegal muslims floating around, lets round it up to 10% of the population of Britain.

What percentage of those do you think want to 'take over'? Whenever you see a demonstration by extremist muslims, the thing that strikes me is how few of them there are. At Wooton Basset, there were 10 of them. At the poppy burning, there was 35-50 of them. We are not even talking 1% of the Muslim population of Britain here.

I highly doubt it. FOR NOW there is a large influx of immigrants... the government are going to have to put a stop to it soon. It can't go on forever - the UK is only so big and eventually we will have to stop letting them in, else we will experience overpopulation.



I understand your theory though, and this is a prime example of the absurdity of democracy. Hypothetically speaking, if fanatical Muslims became the majority then it would be entirely possible for a Sharia system to be implemented in the UK.

Democracy is tyranny of the masses - if an oppressive political ideology (such as Sharia law) starts to grow in popularity (to the point where it is embraced by the majority of our citizens), such a system could indeed be implemented.

This is why I disagree with democracy. It gives citizens the power to vote to take rights away from other people, and this is wrong. Democracy is not freedom - it is a system where individuals are forced to conform to the ideas of the majority.

Personally I think a single-party libertarian state would be a superior system - one in which the sole purpose of the government would be to uphold the rights of its citizens.

Radical Islam is a chance all over the place. Some international locations (England for illustration) simply pick to put again and permit Islamofascists and left-wingers have their manner whilst others (like Switzerland) are combating again.

I'm Muslim and not all Muslims are radical; why do people always generalise and when they hear the word Muslims, instantly get scared, act hysterical and think of the steroype bearded terrorists. No i don't believe they will take over and i don't think they intend to. Why can't people be civil and stop branding us as horrible people. You need to stop swallowing what the media and press feed you. You cant generalise everybody in a catergory because JUST ONE PERSON made a mistake. It's like the police arresting the whole street becuae one person living on the street is a criminal it's just not feasaible!

I doubt it. There are not actually that many 'radical' Muslims in the UK. I doubt they are favoured by much of the Muslim community either. Hopefully they might all grow a brain and turn their back on this BS as well.



However, I don't think people should be complacent. I'd stop all mosques being built. Stop all immigration. And ensure that proper science took priority over religious nonsense - including Christianity.

The number of radicals is very small and most muslims have no desire to take over the country or change anything.It is white liberals that say we can't have christian holidays etc. ,there are a large number of muslims in my area and many muslim owned shops that put up christmas decorations and wish everyone merry christmas,happy easter etc. Don't buy into the propaganda , it is not going to happen just because a few hot heads want it,the majority do not.

It could very possibly happen not only in Britain but in any open country. The way to do it is from within just as it appears to be happening now in your country. First you get special dispensation for 'just' some of the sharia laws. After awhile a few more of the laws and then a few more. It would also be useful if you could expempt their schools from the national inspections and have them only inspected by people of their choice. Do you get the picture, it can be done from within and before concerned citizens even know what happened its too late. Sounds pretty much like a fifth column. Good luck to you

No doubt about it. Islam is WAY smarter that the British. Islam will take Britain by simply waiting until they are in the majority. and that will only be about a generation away. And while they do it, the dumb @rsed British are not only helping by giving up their freedom, housing culture and employment, BUT they are actually policing each other to make shure Islam has an easy path, while their prime minister is pushing to include Turkey into the EU and thus opening the doors of Britain up to about ten million extra muslims.........You couldn't make it up could you..How dumb are the bloody British......You've lost your country already mate.

Many had to stand up and bear arms in preparation for a Nazi invasion- it could be that we will need to do so again to defend civilization against extreme Islam. But I don't see Muslims making a major push for world domination at least until an Islamic power gets a workable nuclear weapon (and I hope that never happens.)
