Was this a well-worded appeal to the Yahoo people regarding deleted questions here in the Politics section?

I feel like certain activity here needs to stop. The Politics section is for the purpose of asking questions, and questions are indeed asked. When it doesnt turn out well for Obama, someone or something (someone said a Paid Democratic Operative) goes and marks the individuals questions and answers. I have never done this.

For my Appeal to Yahoo, I included the following as my rebuttal of whatever may have happened for someone to click the Abuse tab:

I think there is a problem in the Politics section of your site. Someone singles out questions being critical of Barack Obama, and goes back and marks the questions for deletion somehow. Every now and then a question of mine will get deleted and I will KNOW it was not supposed to be. Im still smarting over the one about "What is the Funniest Thing Your Cat Ever Did" in Pets? I let that one go, because i felt like the trend there would stop.

Now this question has been deleted: 'Even if it WERE True that Bush and Admin messed up the whole country,would it matter? And B.O is WORSE!! So..?' - there is NOTHING Violating ToS about this question. I will explain why, and hope a REAL PERSON reviews this...

1) Saying 'And B.O. is Worse! So..' - I get a lot of Bush answers in my questions; B.O. is of course the INITIALS of Barack Obama. Putting his initials in the question was due to space. Plenty of people use his middle name, too: Hussein. Stated as a fast that that is his name, it too should be OK. But sometimes people report these answers because its liek we cannot use his middle name, and this was just his initials...

2) One indiviual posted an answer referencing Hitler. A lot of people post Answers that make a point about how they feel the country is going. Seeking an opinion about a topic is in fact to gain knowledge of a situation, as well.

I would like this question to be restored. I cant look at exactly what I wrote now, but its not a Violation of ToS and its not a rant. My question addresses the comparison of the Obama Presidency vs the Bush Presidency, and i will be happy when someone or something stops marking certain questions and answers of mine as bad.

I have returned the favor and marked 2 answers to my questions as Abuse, as i feel like perhaps I should be more aware of what can bring down my questions when someone puts a bad answer on it? How exactly does this go?

Also, I will be Level 4 soon.

So please restore this question, and it will eliminate the need for a second appeal. Thank You.

PS: Thank You for reading my whole description... .I think Yahoo auto-flags whatever is marked as ''Abuse" and hopefully a Real Person can put this question back so I dont have to keep making back the points. Especially when a question DOES NOT violate Anything but someone's view of what should and shouldnt be on about their favorite presidential candidate!

I have never flagged a question for deletion. And this erroneous and gross conduct affecting my points over things that are not put as what is sad to Yahoo necessitate this factual rebuttal.

You blew your credibility when you accused 'paid political operatives' of having your questions deleted.

I think the issue is larger than this. It strikes me that you expect this to be a serious and thought-provoking forum with comments from sincere points of view. It is not.



I suspect most of the people responding and nearly all of those submitting questions aren't well-prepared in politics, government or civil systems. They are here casually, frequently to espouse a specific belief, often simply to attack either President Obama (seems to be the most popular target) or President Bush. The problem does not lie in your question, its wording or direction. The problem is your expectations.



You'll need a forum of more studied and thoughtful commentators. If you stay (and I think you should) ignore unfair responses or unjustified reports of "abuse." These come from ignorant people (I don't mean that pejoratively) or very young people. You should relax, have fun, develop a slightly thicker skin and help when you can.

Your reply is well said. I have had several questions deleted and received violations that were not warranted on immigration and Joe Biden. My opinion, no profanity, but saying wages were determined by

supply and demand got me a violation. I appealed it and an e-mail signed by David Bauer said that definitely a violation. Something needs to be done about the trolls, it is too easy for them!!

rather long winded. a question is deleted when two or more members in good standing report abuse. the machine kicks in; question is deleted.

don't like the rules here? nothing is stoping you, me, or anyone else to come up with yahoo-answers like site on our own.
